Job Description

- You will review and recommend weld procedure qualification data and weld procedures for approval.
- You will review vendor quality procedures and welder qualification standards.
- You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and transitioning engineering and developmental efforts in welding and fabrication technology.
- You will review deviations from NAVSEA welding requirements.
- You will Interpret codes, standards, specifications, and procedures.
- You will interpret and evaluate welding and fabrication technologies in accordance with existing codes, standards, and specifications.
- You will provide provisioning support with regards to welding and fabrication technologies.
- You will perform audits and surveillances of weld qualification and execution.
- You will interpret and evaluate results for Non-Destructive Testing inspection methods assigned in accordance with existing codes, standards, and specifications.
- You will prepare proposals, reports, correspondence, presentations, and documentation for welding projects.
- You will lead, direct, and support reviews of commercial and Navy analyses in welding and fabrication methods as required to support TWH pyramid.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying engineering technology concepts and practices to evaluate welding codes, standards, and specifications to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
