What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review special education documents for newly enrolled students and administer assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and service providers to collect information for reevaluation
- Maintain compliance on reevaluation reports and ensure timely completion of special education documents
- Consult with IEP teams to analyze student information for planning and program coordination
- Participate in school-wide events and testing as required

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Current, valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of three years teaching experience in special education
- Knowledge/background in psychological assessment and measures of achievement
- Strong knowledge of the identification and monitoring of disabilities under IDEA

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree preferred
- Extensive knowledge of special education documents, placements, and supports
- Prior experience making academic progress with a diverse range of student populations
- Experience serving as a peer coach and mentor
- Experience modeling interactive, ongoing collaborative learning
