What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and develop software applications using open-source frameworks, primarily Java
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and resolve complex issues within the SaaS platform
- Lead design and code reviews, and mentor less experienced engineers
- Develop and maintain automated tests to enhance software quality
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the overall product roadmap

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent technical experience
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in application design and development
- At least 2 years of experience leading development team initiatives
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, and experience with object-oriented programming languages including Java

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience designing and developing in a microservices environment
- Experience with Spring Boot and cloud-based development environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps methodologies
- Experience in automated test development and execution
- Knowledge of big data technologies such as Apache Spark or Hadoop is a plus
