Performs various engineering and design assignments requiring the application of basic principles and fundamental theories studied in a Bachelors in Civil Engineering program, and available data in the engineering field.
Prepares or assists in preparing fundamental engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, and designs.
Under the guidance of a more senior engineer, assists in the preparation and issuance of specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
Provides input to CAD Designer/Drafters working on the same project.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field), with coursework or emphases in transportation engineering and typically 0+ years of related work experience.
Experience with CAD software (Microstation preferred) and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is also required.

In this role you will perform various engineering and design assignments requiring the application of basic principles and fundamental theories studied in a Bachelors in Civil Engineering program, and available data in the engineering field. Under the guidance of a more senior engineer, you will assist in the preparation and issuance of specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents for road/highway projects.
