What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor network traffic, system logs, and security alerts to identify potential security threats or incidents
- Participate in incident response efforts, including investigating and documenting incidents
- Support the gathering, analyzing, and sharing of threat intelligence data
- Maintain accurate documentation of security incidents, responses, and outcomes
- Assist in developing cybersecurity policies and procedures

What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS degree with a major in cybersecurity, minor in cybersecurity, or at least 15 credit hours of cybersecurity coursework
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, routing)
- Familiarity with operating systems, particularly Linux and Windows
- Strong desire to learn about cybersecurity, incident response, and GRC principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in cybersecurity is a plus but not required
- Previous exposure to SOC environments, SIEM tools, network monitoring, or GRC activities is beneficial
