Job Description

- Responsible for producing safe, technically accurate and cost effective mechanical systems and equipment designs for material handling facilities
- Work within in a project team environment receiving direction and guidance from engineers
- Work to support project timelines
- Become familiar with project and department procedures and standards
- Become familiar with bulk conveyor design software
- Provide input to data sheets, equipment specifications, inquiry requisitions, and technical bid evaluations
- Provide updates to the project equipment list and P&IDs as applicable
- Provide input and markup vendor documents with project requirements, ensuring consistency with primary project documents (Equipment List, PFDs, P&IDs)
- Work with design groups to ensure 3D model accurately depicts equipment/package components
- Communicate effectively with project team
- Participate in site data collection
- Individual responsibility will be commensurate with capability and experience level

- The successful candidate will have 0 to 2 years of experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work in MS Office suite of applications.
- Ability to learn Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
- A bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred.
- Work in the greater Greenville, SC area.
- Be available for occasional work at client’s facilities or in other Wood offices.
