Job Title: PSNS-Shop 99 Temp Pipefitters

Job Description

The Contractor employee shall be capable of reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, written technical instructions, and manuals to work on diagrams and pipe systems. They must possess knowledge of equipment and systems installation and operation, with the ability to plan work layout and modify or repair new and/or existing valves and piping. The role involves inspecting and testing installed piping along with associated valves, hardware, and hangers. The employee should have a working knowledge of trade mathematics and formulas to calculate flow rate and volume, and understand temporary ventilation requirements and method trade standards. The position entails installation and removal of temporary pipe service onboard surface ships, submarines, shops, dry docks, and piers.

Hard Skills
