Define appropriate, efficient, technical, and aesthetic workflows for given shots and sequences.
Work with the lead environment artist to model, light, texture, shade and render CG environments & assets..
Balance multiple shots while maintaining quality of work
Identify solutions that define and maintain the look required for the production while minimizing render times.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical/workflow issues between various disciplines that are involved in creating environments.
Streamline environment-related processes by identifying solutions and communicating them to environment artists as well as artists in other departments.
Help monitor render issues and assist in the optimization of work flows and render times.
Identify and flag potential issues and problems at the earliest possible stage and recommend appropriate solutions for the best possible outcome.
Complete required tasks within the given deadlines.
Execute FX sims as needed.
Proven knowledge and experience using Blender.
Experience in layout and composition and proficiency in projection painting techniques.
Knowledge about modeling, texture painting, lighting and FX.
Skills in Photoshop, Nuke, Maya, Katana, Clarisse.
Technical ability and patience to troubleshoot issues.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
