      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations, including the Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act
      - Provide technical and regulatory guidance and training to plant EHS, maintenance, and operation management
      - Conduct internal audits at all US-based locations, identifying environmental issues and proposing action plans
      - Support plant environmental reporting and ensure accuracy of submissions, including EPCRA and wastewater reports
      - Offer spill reporting guidance and assist plants with follow-up reports as needed

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of 7 years of environmental compliance experience with applicable certification, or a bachelor's degree in applied science or a related field and 3 years of experience
      - Experience managing environmental programs at a production facility level
      - Ability to develop and implement environmental training programs
      - Proficiency in conducting plant audits and generating actionable reports
      - Willingness to travel up to 25%

      - Experience in creating and implementing compliance strategies for environmental regulations
      - Familiarity with food safety and quality plans in a manufacturing environment
      - Knowledge of technical standards related to environmental management systems
