      Intern Orientation Highlights

      Internship Program Requirements:

      • Educational Background: Pursuing a four-year degree with an expected graduation between December 2025 and Summer 2027. Must have overall 2.8GPA

      • Transportation: Interns must have their own transportation to and from work.

      • Geographical Flexibility: Willing to relocate to one of our ADM locations.

      • Background Check: Successful completion of a background check is required.

      • Availability: Must be available for a summer internship from mid-May to early August 2025.

      Job Summary
      As an EH&S Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience by applying classroom knowledge to real-world environmental and safety challenges. You'll engage with colleagues, learn about facility environmental and safety aspects, and develop a deep understanding of plant operations and equipment. You'll also network with plant, area, and regional EH&S teams, participate in weekly calls and meetings, and collaborate with engineering interns.

      Key Responsibilities:


      • EH&S Leadership: Support incident investigations, case management, and colleague EH&S training (orientation, toolbox meetings, monthly training).

      • Colleague Engagement: Foster strong relationships with colleagues and encourage active participation in EH&S programs.

      • Plant Operations: Conduct plant inspections, issue permits, and assist in developing JSAs and procedures.

      • Program Management: Manage and update plant EH&S programs and SOPs.

      • A2E Principles: Apply A2E principles in daily tasks.

      • System Utilization: Use Sphera & ERL systems to enter incidents, track training, and analyze data.

      • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate on improving procedures and physical conditions.

      • Committee Involvement: Participate in EH&S committees and PE Safety Pillar Teams.

      • Project Delivery: Present a project overview to a cross-functional team at the end of the internship.

      Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

      If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

      The pay range for this position is expected to be between:

      $21 - $24 hourly rate is dependent on graduation date
