What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze and interpret technical information to evaluate and modify existing programs or create new ones
- Design new programs or projects, identifying missions, work plans, goals, and measurable performance standards
- Develop, track, and report program metrics, including outputs and outcomes
- Conduct outreach activities such as meetings, workshops, and training sessions to promote environmental initiatives
- Research and identify grant opportunities, complete applications, and administer grant files

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Four-year degree in communications, education, public administration, marketing, environmental science, or a related field
- Five years of experience working with the public in areas related to environmental impacts or community education
- Two years of experience with project management, tracking metrics, budgets, contracts, and grant writing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Adobe programs and web content management systems
- Valid driver's license

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience mentoring new hires, interns, or volunteers
- Knowledge of social marketing and behavior change applications
- Familiarity with community organization and outreach strategies
- Experience conducting technical assistance visits to businesses regarding environmental practices
