      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Lead and complete state and federal permitting processes, including report writing and application preparation
      - Conduct preliminary assessments of permitting requirements for proposed projects
      - Coordinate and lead site investigations, including aquatic resources delineation and T&E species surveys
      - Prepare and manage the review and submittal of various permit applications
      - Serve as a technical lead for environmental, biological, and permitting assessments across the region

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - BA/BS degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Environmental Studies, Biology, or related field with 6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency
      - Valid Driver's License and ability to pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records review
      - US Citizenship required
      - Proven experience in completing NJ and federal permits in accordance with regulations
      - Strong communication skills, including both oral and written

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Project task management experience with oversight of staff and budget
      - Proficiency in permit application preparation and technical writing
      - Experience in ecological assessments for natural gas, electric utilities, and renewables
      - Background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
      - Safety training (i.e., OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hours)
