What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Produce visual impact assessments (VIA) including site photography and photo-realistic simulations
- Coordinate tasks and contributions from a diverse technical team
- Conduct project site visits, requiring minimal travel (10-20% annually)
- Provide general planning and permitting support for power generation and transmission projects
- Manage multiple projects while focusing on details and broader components

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3 to 5 years of experience in producing or supporting VIAs
- Strong research, analysis, and reporting abilities
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to interpret site layouts, topographic maps, and other resources
- Valid driver’s license and ability to perform fieldwork, including lifting up to 50 lbs

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with VIAs under the National Environmental Policy Act and state environmental reviews
- Familiarity with federal agencies' assessment methods for visual impacts
- Training in tools such as DSLR cameras, Autodesk 3ds Max, and Adobe Creative Cloud
- Experience with shadow flicker analyses for wind energy projects
