      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Produce visual impact assessments (VIA) under the direction of the Visual Resources Practice Lead
      - Coordinate contributions from a technically diverse team and manage multiple projects
      - Conduct research, analysis, and technical writing for assessments in support of permit applications
      - Travel for project site visits as required, typically no more than 10-20% annually
      - Support general planning and permitting for power generation and transmission projects

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - 3 to 5 years of experience producing or supporting the completion of VIAs
      - Strong writing, research, analysis, and reporting skills
      - Ability to interpret site layouts, topographic maps, and other relevant documents
      - Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
      - Experience in power generation, electrical transmission, or related fields

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with VIAs related to the National Environmental Policy Act and state environmental reviews
      - Familiarity with federal agencies and their visual effects assessment methods
      - Experience with landscape photography and simulation/visualization software
      - Knowledge of shadow flicker analyses for wind energy projects
      - Training in tools typically used for VIA production, such as Autodesk 3ds Max and Adobe Creative Cloud
