What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage regulatory permitting and environmental compliance for client projects in the Central Valley
- Prepare state and federal permit applications and review compliance documentation
- Support client in strategy development and acquisition of regulatory permits and approvals
- Assist with construction-phase compliance and respond to noncompliance events
- Retrieve data and prepare reports using client's proprietary database management application

What is Required (Qualifications):
- BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in biology, environmental science, or related field preferred
- Experience with major environmental laws including CEQA, NEPA, Clean Water Act
- Exceptional analytic, verbal, and writing skills
- Proficiency in Office 365 applications

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 7 years of experience in regulatory permitting and environmental compliance in California
- Master's degree in biology, environmental science, or related field
- Experience with large-scale compensatory mitigation planning and procurement
- Experience in construction compliance tracking and documentation
- Experience with design-build contracting and construction processes
