What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Operate and maintain air quality monitoring equipment at various field locations
- Conduct daily and weekly data reviews and ensure equipment operates within specifications
- Submit monthly data to the EPA Air Quality System database
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment
- Conduct general site maintenance, including snow removal and upkeep

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution with 15 credit hours in science or engineering courses, or a four-year combination of education and experience in an environmental science or related area
- Experience in ambient air quality monitoring
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electronic or mechanical equipment
- Proficiency in quality control, data review, and data validation
- Familiarity with database programs such as Excel

- Additional experience in environmental science or a related field
- Previous work in a government or regulatory agency
- Skills in data analysis and interpretation
- Familiarity with air quality regulations and standards
