What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct compliance inspections related to the distribution and use of pesticides
- Interview retailers, applicators, and complainants to gather evidence and information
- Complete inspection forms and write narrative reports based on findings
- Assess compliance with complex regulations and respond to tips and complaints
- Travel to various locations for inspections, meetings, and training purposes

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution with 15 credit hours in science or engineering courses, or a combination of education and experience in environmental science
- A valid Maine Driver's License may be required at the time of hire
- Demonstrated computer literacy
- Relevant experience or knowledge about pesticides, agriculture, and pest management
