What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Draft wastewater discharge permits for industrial, commercial, and municipal discharges
- Collaborate with compliance, enforcement, and technical engineering staff
- Interact with federal and state regulatory agencies, as well as the regulated community
- Manage multiple projects while adhering to established timelines
- Conduct technical writing and analysis to support water quality management efforts

What is Required (Qualifications):
- A combination of six (6) years of education and/or experience in environmental, biological, physical science, or engineering, including two (2) years of environmental experience
- At least 15 credit hours of science or engineering coursework from an accredited educational institution
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze problems and make sound decisions independently
- Experience in collaborating with diverse stakeholders to resolve issues

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of laws and regulations related to wastewater treatment facilities
- Understanding of water pollution issues and science
- Technical writing experience
