What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Supervise and train field inspection staff in compliance monitoring and regulatory enforcement
- Conduct inspections and respond to complaints regarding unlawful conduct
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures and oversee sampling procedures
- Collaborate with the Office of the Attorney General on enforcement responses to pesticide law violations
- Serve as the enforcement liaison with the Federal EPA regarding cooperative enforcement agreements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- A minimum of eight (8) years of education and/or experience in environmental science or a related area
- At least two (2) years of supervisory or program management/administration experience
- Required education must include at least 15 credit hours of science or engineering coursework
- Strong analytical and technical evaluation skills
- Ability to travel for nationwide conferences and training programs

- Experience in the enforcement of pesticide regulations
- Familiarity with environmental compliance and monitoring processes
- Knowledge of federal and state environmental legislation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with program management in a governmental or regulatory setting
