What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct due diligence reviews of renewable generation and storage projects, identifying potential environmental risks
- Develop operational strategies to minimize project risks and ensure timely implementation
- Provide permit and compliance support to hydroelectric facilities, including FERC license and relicensing
- Lead and coordinate work activities within the team and with external consultants as required
- Prepare clear and concise reports on complex technical subjects for various stakeholders

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, biology, chemistry, natural resources, ecology, or a related field
- Minimum of 6 years (for Specialist Sr) or 10 years (for Specialist Principal) of environmental experience
- Must be available for overtime, call-out overtime, and shift work as required
- Willingness to travel 10-25% of the time
- Registration in recognized environmental professional associations is encouraged

- Master's or Doctorate degree in a related field
- Experience in renewable energy regulations and compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
