What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Gather and analyze user needs for developing and modifying clinical or business applications
- Provide complex application support and write documentation and specifications
- Analyze complex results and propose solutions or recommendations
- Build, configure, and modify applications using existing application tools
- Serve as a resource for resolving complex problems and issues within the organization
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a health, science, or business field, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in information applications, including one year in programming or applications analysis
- Experience working in a healthcare environment is preferred
- Effective customer service skills and ability to work with all levels within the organization
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for advising and consulting with user personnel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Additional certifications related to applications analysis or healthcare IT
- Experience in teaching analysis and problem-solving principles
- Familiarity with problem analysis, hardware/software configurations, and application integration
- Proven ability to develop complex specifications for applications
