What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Attend classes and complete required testing to obtain and maintain EMR system certifications
- Assist in workflow analysis, data collection, database customization, and user training for EMR quality maintenance
- Communicate with clinical and nonclinical staff to understand needs and relay status updates
- Evaluate project scopes and develop build strategies for implementing approved assignments
- Document work efforts in detail to support audit reviews and participate in change management approvals

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of an Associate Degree or equivalent work experience in a healthcare setting
- One year of experience in a healthcare environment with demonstrated leadership characteristics
- Working knowledge of hospital and/or outpatient operations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to obtain EPIC Certification within 90 days of employment

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in patient care, patient accounts, registration, scheduling, claims, or health information management
- Proven ability to handle multiple assignments in various stages of completion
