What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Attend training to obtain necessary EMR system certifications and participate in software programming and configuration tasks
- Assist in workflow analysis, data collection, database customization, reporting, system testing, and user training for EMR maintenance
- Communicate effectively with clinical and nonclinical staff to understand needs and relay status updates
- Evaluate project scopes and user requests to develop strategies for implementing approved assignments
- Document work efforts associated with assignments in a timely and detailed manner to support audit reviews

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of an Associate Degree preferred or equivalent work experience in a healthcare setting
- At least one year of work experience in a healthcare setting with demonstrated leadership characteristics
- Working knowledge of hospital and/or outpatient operations, with an analytical approach to problem-solving
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate teamwork, manage conflict, prioritize tasks, and exhibit self-motivation

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in patient care, patient accounts, registration, scheduling, claims, and/or health information management
- Previous experience working with EMR systems or healthcare IT solutions
