- Conducts research to develop, configure, and modify moderately complex information systems.
- Designs, configures, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains programs/applications.
- Applies detailed knowledge of system functionality to the implementation of new applications and modules.
- Uses knowledge of user workflow to assist users in defining requirements.
- Uses technical and analytical skills to determine best approaches to tailoring system to meet EvergreenHealth goals of standardization across the health system.
- Builds and configures system to meet requirements, using available application tools.
- Creates documentation of business requirements, current and future state workflows, and any custom build as appropriate.
- Coordinates all testing phases of associated applications during implementations and upgrades.
- Participates in testing; or lead integrated testing, coordinating resources and organizing issue tracking.
- Conducts research and resolve issues.
- Provides input to go-live event.
- Provides support during go-live events, including during standard off-hours support times.
- Provides technical and professional guidance to less experienced resources as needed.
- Takes responsibility for the more complex builds and issue research/resolution.
- Manages small and medium sized projects with minimal managerial oversight. May take a key leadership role in larger projects. Develops key project management tools, including project plans, issues logs, testing plans, and go-live events.
- Develops strong relationships with end user communities, customers, and business partners.
- Builds enhancements to current functionality using application tools.
- Participates in detailed testing of software updates and upgrades.
- Responds to issues reported by users; conducts research and resolves issues in a timely fashion.
- Provides excellent customer service by communicating in a friendly and professional manner, empathizing with users on system issue impacts, setting appropriate expectations on issue resolution.
- Responsible for ongoing on call duties for one or more applications which generate Incidents outside of business hours. Often this role is on call for the most critical applications requiring the fastest and most skilled level of response. Troubleshoots and resolves system issues escalated by the Help Desk.
- Collaborates with vendor support personnel to research and resolve vendor product issues.
- Participates in vendor user groups and online listservs, and reviews contents of vendor updates, to ensure optimization of the capabilities of the assigned applications.
- Participates in cross-training, as a trainer and a learner, for personal development and to ensure adequate secondary coverage on all applications.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent in education and/or experience is required for the Analyst level.
- 3 years collective experience as an Epic Associate Analyst and/or Epic Analyst is required for the Epic Analyst level. u00A0
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
- Experience in a clinic environment providing knowledge of Home Health and Hospice operations and processes including billing processes preferred.
- Working experience in a healthcare environment such as healthcare operations, clinical areas, or information services.
- Experience with programming, system analysis, configuration, system implementation, and/or application support.
- Knowledge of the systems lifecycle, client-server technologies, clinical workflows, and PC application support.
- Experience with Visio.
- Required Certifications: Home Health and Hospice Billing
- Preferred Certifications: Resolute Hospital Billing Administration
- Preferred Certifications: Resolute Professional Billing Administration
- Preferred Certifications: HB/PB Claims and Remittance
- Will be required to complete annual EPIC recertification requirements.
- Multiple Epic Certifications/accreditations/proficiencies across applications, preferred.
- Certifications or Proficiencies must stay current by maintaining new version training.u00A0

Wage Range: $87,755 - $140,442 per year
Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.
PLEASE NOTE: u00A0This is a remote position, however due to our pay practices,u00A0qualified candidates MUST reside within the state of Washington. While candidates need to live or relocate to Washington State, working remotely will require reliable broadband internet and personal cell phone service. Remote work may include working day-to-day operations during Pacific Standard business hours or online training. u00A0This position will be expected to take 24/7 on-call support for a week at a time in rotation with other members of the team.u00A0 On-call rotation will begin when the staff member and Team Lead feel the level of skill has been achieved to triage and support end user critical needs.Job Summary
Theu00A0Epic Analystu00A0designs, analyzes, develops, tests, implements, and/or provides tier two technical assistance of assigned system applications. In this role, the Epic Analyst consults with Epic representatives, application coordinators, supervisors and end users to configure and build Epic software and applications to meet organizational and client needs; troubleshoots problems, offers solutions and recommends a course of action to address the issues and needs of the end user and to achieve client and/or hospital specifications for Epic applications; and develops and modifies procedures to solve complex data processing problems and/or prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written.Please Note: u00A0This position is for Dorothy Comfort Billing and prior experience with Home Health and Hospice functions is desired. u00A0Epic Analysts will be required to complete annual Epic Proficiency requirements.Primary Dutiesu00A0
