What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Gather and analyze user needs for developing and modifying clinical or business applications in the healthcare environment
- Provide complex application support and write documentation and specifications
- Analyze complex results and propose solutions and recommendations
- Build, configure, and modify applications using existing application tools
- Serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in a health, science, or business field, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in information applications, including one year in programming or applications analysis
- Experience working in a healthcare environment is preferred
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with an emphasis on user relations and data gathering
- Effective verbal and written communication skills necessary for advising and consulting with user personnel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Additional certifications related to healthcare applications
- Experience teaching application functionality and design standards
- Familiarity with hardware/software configurations and application integration
- Proven ability to work with all levels within the organization
