- Participates in workflow design and system build in order to gain and maintain in-depth knowledge of why workflows have been designed as they have, and the important system functionality supporting those workflows.
- Trains and provides support to Physicians, Nurses, Ancillary staff and other personnel on the use of the Epic system.
- Works closely with the Epic Credentialed Trainers.
- Provides support at the Epic Support Desk assisting end-users with Epic fixes.
- Will review and complete Service Now tickets assigned according to the application you support.
- Solicits trainee feedback and appropriately adapts training.
- Complete rounding in the departments that your application supports.
- Will assist with Video creation for end user training.
- Assist with Optimization training.
- Coordinate and Manage MST (Master Training Environment).
- Provide Go-Live end user support for large projects.
- Assist with testing of changes to the Epic System.
- Assist with Epic Support Desk team In-box.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 2 + years experience working in the Epic Systems.
- Has previously been a Epic Credentialed Trainer or SME (Subject Matter Expert).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, email, the Internet and other systems; an ability to effectively adapt to changing curriculum required.
- Minimum 1+ years experience in training.
- Demonstrate the ability to independently function and master job responsibilities.
- Proven ability to write well.

SummaryResponsible for training and education for the electronic health record. This position will require the trainer to receive proficiency in the Epic application they are supporting. This position reports to the Training Manager, and works closely with Credentialed Trainers to achieve the goal of providing end user training and helping maintain Epic standards.
