- This is a full-time position working onsite in our Lexington, KY facility from 8:00am – 5:00 pm.
- Working with Territory Manager (s), promote Equine products to veterinarians with the goal of achieving sales growth.
- Answer incoming calls, manage the set-up of new accounts, maintain relevant information for each account.
- Contact veterinarians and patients to obtain information necessary to fill prescriptions
- Resolve customer issues regarding service, products, delivery, and account information in a timely, accurate and professional manner
- Coordinates follow up with sales activities/inquiries within territory.
- Quotes prices and provides information regarding terms of sales and delivery dates.
- Provides customers with product information. Develop and manage customer relationships with targeted veterinarians focusing on the promotion of pharmaceutical products.
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge of equine pharmaceutical products and competitor products to further educate veterinarians and our customers
- Maintain knowledge of products, pricing, shipping details and protocols of the pharmacy
- Direct phone calls and messages to the appropriate employee or department
- Obtain billing information
- Continuously update files of veterinarians and patients
- Assist in the training of new employees when necessary
- Proven to be successful in influencing and selling skills
- Aptitude for learning technical and scientific product related information
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills
- Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaboratively build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, external partners, and others

- Obtained Equine industry experience
- Developed strong computer skills specifically in Microsoft Office
- Obtained a Pharmacy Technician License or are willing to obtain upon hire
- Experience in customer experience, pharmaceutical sales, or previous veterinary care

Using knowledge of company products, services, and policies, the Account Manager will assist callers with inquiries and offer practical solutions based on the customer's needs. They will also help place prescription orders and answer or direct questions to the appropriate department. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping others resolve problems.
