What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform a variety of manual tasks in the operation of motor equipment
- Demonstrate skill in the operation of Equipment Operator II level equipment
- Maintain and service equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery
- Assist in the maintenance and improvement of public infrastructure
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Completion of a minimum of the eighth grade; high school graduation or GED preferred
- Minimum of one year's experience operating Equipment Operator II level equipment
- Valid commercial driver's license for the type of equipment operated
- Ability to meet established medical and physical standards for the class of work
- Willingness to obtain necessary endorsements for specific equipment within six months

- Experience with a variety of motor equipment, including mowers and compaction machines
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in equipment operation
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Previous experience in a government or public service role
