Equipment Operator Job Summary:

Equipment Operators operate construction, excavation, hauling, and maintenance equipment including backhoes, front-end loaders, bulldozers, excavators, or grade tractors. Uses excavating machinery to dig holes and trenches in and around underground utility lines. TRAVEL IS REQUIRED

What You'll Do

Equipment Operator Responsibilities:

• Inspect large equipment before and after use to ensure they are working properly

• Load and unload cargo and move them to the appropriate storage area

• Follow all safety procedures while operating equipment

• Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs when necessary

• Report needs for larger repairs to the appropriate parties

• TRAVEL IS REQUIRED - DEPENDING ON YOUR LOCATION

What You'll Bring

Equipment Operator Requirements:

• Class A CDL license required.

• Knowledge of transmission and operation of telecommunications systems.

• Ability to work overtime, depending on project goals.

• Prefer 1-2 years in utility construction industry operating equipment utilized in overhead and underground construction with experience operating backhoes, excavators, skid steers in and around underground utility lines.

• Safety certifications are a plus; some safety certification training provided.

• Must be willing to travel - Job is in Teledo, WA iwth a job trailer/office where you will report to daily.
