What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop capital control center transmission operations and budget
- Develop operations strategy in compliance with ERCOT and NERC reliability standards
- Plan and implement contingency plans, emergency response, and system outages for bulk electric system operation
- Attend ERCOT meetings/work groups and provide testimony at regulatory and legal proceedings
- Ensure compliance with NERC and ERCOT reliability standards and policies

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems Engineering
- 10 years of experience in transmission operations, SCADA/EMS operations, or control center operations
- At least 5 years of experience in transmission control center operations management
- Familiarity with Open Systems International (OSI) or GE Reliance SCADA/EMS

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in other ISOs/RTOs in addition to ERCOT
- Knowledge of other energy infrastructure technology platforms
