What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the primary liaison between IT and accounting, facilitating effective communication
- Resolve discrepancies between Rootstock and Intacct data and perform root cause analysis
- Identify areas for continuous improvement in ERP functionality and data accuracy
- Optimize accounting period close processes and streamline accounts payable procedures
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards to improve data accessibility
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or 4+ years of relevant experience
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in ERP and financial systems projects, particularly in implementation
- Solid understanding of general accounting principles and experience managing General Ledger Accounts
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial requirements into functional designs
- Strong communication and collaborative skills with a history of cross-functional work
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in an ERP or financial system, particularly Rootstock and/or Sage Intacct
- Experience with Salesforce as an Architect, Consultant, and/or Administrator
- Background working as a business systems analyst
- Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new tools and technologies independently
