- Preparation/evaluation of: BIM Fabrication packages, Material & Labor comparisons, Joint count conversions, Engineering model conversions, Material Take-Offs (MTO) as requiredu00A0
- Communicate estimate and scope of work to Sales staffu00A0
- Determine scope coverage and manage risk of scope gaps to Sales and Customer
- Coordination of projects with work center(s)/sales/customers to ensure project schedule milestones and deliverables are met.
- Quality Control functions in-line with current department standards.
- Utilize, review, and enforce the VDC division procedures and policies. Suggest updates as needed. u00A0
- Coordination, scheduling, and assignment of incoming Sales support requests.
- Assist Sales with presentation of VDC package quotes (as required). u00A0
- Assist in the training of others in the department. u00A0
- Assist other VDC departments (as required).
u00A0 - GED diploma, Two-year Associates Degree, and/or Bacheloru2019s Degree in Engineering related to Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. u00A0
- Proven written and verbal communication abilities
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, & Navisworks software preferred.
- Knowledge of interpretating piping specification and mechanical piping drawings
- Knowledge of estimating software: Onscreen Take-off, AutoBid Est-MECH, QuoteSoft, etc.
