Join one of the nation’s leading and most impactful health care performance improvement companies. Over the years, Health Catalyst has achieved and documented clinical, operational, and financial improvements for many of the nation’s leading healthcare organizations. We are also increasingly serving international markets. Our mission is to be the catalyst for massive, measurable, data-informed healthcare improvement through:
Role: Event Marketing Intern (HAS - Healthcare Analytics Summit)
Team: Marketing
Location: US Remote (Salt Lake City, UT preferred)
Travel: Depends on location of applicant
Availability: Feb - Sept 2025
*Note: hours are flexible and will be part-time (~20 hrs. a week) to start. We anticipate an increase of hours, up to full time (40 hours a week) during the summer as we get closer to the event. We are flexible with school schedules but expect interns to also be flexible so they can be online during the busiest working hours.
Health Catalyst has a world-class marketing team focused on educating, engaging, and changing healthcare. Our team manages a variety of marketing programs, including our signature fall event – the Health Catalyst Analytics Summit (HAS). This event will be the primary focus of the internship.
It is a requirement to be available and onsite the week of HAS, August 26-28, 2025. Many interns are college students, and we can be flexible to a large degree around school schedules. But we need to count on interns to prioritize HAS the week of the event.
Specific duties related to HAS include: assisting with attendee registration, tracking speaker assignments, managing logistics for various activities, ordering/tracking items to be shipped, brainstorming creative ideas for gifts and prizes, reporting the status of projects to the broader team, handling conference registrations and lodging lists, and driving registrations through email, texts, and other outreach to potential attendees. Because we strive for data-informed decisions, we need interns who are good with Excel and can compile, organize, and analyze information into recommendations for program improvements.
In addition to HAS, interns may be asked to help support other marketing programs including webinars, market research, demand generation campaigns, regional events, budget tracking, and cleaning lead data.
Interns are an integral part of the HAS team. In order to deliver a world-class experience, we are looking for teammates with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, self-prioritization, calculated decision-making, and a continuous desire to learn and do hard things. We have a lot of fun but take our role to help transform healthcare seriously.
