The Field Extension Education Laboratory (FEEL) is seeking an Event and Industry Coordinator and Facility Manager to oversee event planning, industry engagement, and facility operations to support FEEL’s mission of providing hands-on agricultural education and outreach.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, and coordinating FEEL-hosted events, managing event logistics such as rental agreements, registration, setup, and cleanup, and developing and executing event schedules and timelines. You will have the autonomy to lead events independently, fostering a sense of ownership and accomplishment.
Additionally, the role may involve representing FEEL at conferences, trade shows, and outreach events, overseeing facility maintenance and compliance, and supervising student workers for event setup and operations. The candidate will maintain inventory of event supplies and equipment, coordinate repairs with university maintenance and contractors, and secure sponsorships, grants, and funding. Financial responsibilities include developing and monitoring event budgets, handling billing, invoicing, and financial records, and overseeing purchasing and procurement.
