What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships to ensure successful event execution
- Actively sell guest rooms and catering services to meet sales goals
- Conduct thorough site inspections and communicate details effectively with clients
- Prepare proposals and contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies
- Monitor financials and ensure proper invoicing and billing procedures are followed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- At least 3-5 years of progressive experience in an upscale hotel or related field, or a 2-year college degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Windows and hotel sales systems, including spreadsheets and word processing
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques and health regulations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a service-oriented approach
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
