      We are looking for an Event Marketing Coordinator to partner with the Brand Marketing Team on the planning and implementation of brand events at the regional and store level. The ideal individual is motivated, organized and results oriented who can manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Event Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of events in the New York City and East region as well as Rack new store openings corporately.

      This is a hybrid role and requires working 3 days/week in our corporate office in Manhattan.

      A day in the life...

      • Partner with the regional events team to support the execution of all events, promotions and sponsorship opportunities for Nordstrom, Nordstrom Local and Nordstrom Rack stores.
      • Provide logistical event support for the Rack New Store Openings to include: catering coordination, rentals, DJ, travel planning, meeting schedules, point of contact for Property Management team.
      • Coordination of elements (catering, rentals, Audio/Visual, entertainment, evites, signage) for events across multiple states within assigned regions, averaging 275 events per quarter.
      • Create event toolkits for all business areas to be deployed to stores and regional management teams for respective regions.
      • Manage contracts with various external vendors and groups to support innovative experiences (caterers, production, rental, entertainment, etc.)
      • Manage WorkFront Projects to include collateral requests, evite requests, modeling requests, visual design requests and sign requests.
      • Create event decks for distribution both internally and externally with brand partners.
      • Recap events, volume and ROI utilizing appropriate tools and systems.
      • Execute business processes and procedures to support the events department.
      • Provide administrative support to event marketing team as applicable.
      • Research and resolve issues using appropriate resources.
      • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of information being processed, stored or accessed.
      • Process invoices and reconcile corporate card to track event expenses and manage budgets.
      • Collaborate cross-functionally with other business groups inclusive of but not limited to: marketing strategy, creative, merchant teams, PR, Regional Managers, store teams to execute events.
      • Own Store Event Calendar input by assigned deadlines for respective regions.
      • Support in-store and off-site events as dictated by business needs which may occur during evenings and weekends.

      You own this if you have...

      • Bachelor's degree preferred
      • Experience in marketing, event planning or related field.
      • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
      • Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.
      • Excellent organization, communication, negotiating and multitasking skills. Detail-oriented, accurate, professional, and accountable.
      • Proven ability to develop relationships with various business partners.
      • Passion and understanding of retail and fashion.

      Pay Range Details

      New York: $21.25 - $43.50 hourly
