Description: Performs a variety of Data-related functions. Is able to follow clearly defined processes and flag for support when requests do not match expectations. Strong attention to detail and comfort in learning and using multiple systems and tools is critical. Tracks work and is able to readily provide status updates to a supervisor on a daily basis. Adept at excel and outlook. This team is responsible for pricing bids on the largest and most competitive customers. What this candidate will be in charge of mainly is cleaning up excel files to make sure all pricing and bids are organized for the sales team. A lot of the data will be transferred to Salesforce as well so being proficient in both systems (Salesforce and Excel) is needed. Daily Schedule - Working heavily in Salesforce and Excel to make sure data is clean and accurate. - Using formulas, pivot tables V & H look ups, and other excel functions to manipulate and organize data. - Sales team will submit to and work with this team very heavily - Currently 9 employees, under sales operations team - Will assist stakeholders on processes such as pricing requests, operation tasks, general questions, gathering information, etc. - Interact daily (sync at start of day and throughout) - Everyone participates and helps each other out to push out volume Location: Chicago, IL Schedule: 40 Hours a week, Monday through Friday, 8-4 or 9-5 Hybrid position, 3 days a week in office for Downtown Chicago location. First two weeks will be all in office for Training, 5 days a week.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Degrees/Certifications - High school diploma - Associates or bachelor’s degree is a plus but not required Basic Qualifications - Must have at least 2 years’ experience working for a corporation. - Most important experience they need is Excel and Salesforce experience (mainly excel). Formulas, V-look ups, pivot tables, etc. *Main excel question to ask is have they owned data sets in previous roles? How large were the data sets and what were they in charge of doing with them?* - Highly preferred to have Freight or Logistics Experience since this is the world they'll be in and will need the terminology. (Ex. Ask if they know what a "Lane" is in the Freight world or what does it mean to "price a lane"
