      What You'll Do:

      Responsibilities of the Executive Assistant include but are not limited to:

      • Serves as Executive Assistant to the Executive Director of the Ohio Lottery Commission (OLC).
      • Assists the Executive Leadership Team (Executive Director and Assistant Director) with program direction and performs a variety of difficult administrative tasks to support them.
      • Serves as liaison between the Executive Leadership Team and OLC Office Directors
      • Responds to various issues and needs of Office Directors and OLC staff.
      • Assists in developing and making presentations in meetings and to groups on behalf of the Executive Director and Assistant Director.
      • Develops and administers Executive Management programs and special projects and formulates and implements related policies, procedures, and guidelines.
      • Attends meetings, conferences, and business functions with or on behalf of the Executive Director and/or Assistant Director.
      • Prepares, plans, and organizes monthly Commission meetings.
      • Manages various business functions of the Executive Director and Assistant Director’s office.
      • Coordinates meetings, establishes meeting agendas, and takes minutes.
      • Prepares important documents, correspondence, and reports.
      • Coordinates the staff performance evaluation process for the Executive Director and Assistant Director.
      • Responds to inquiries and complaints.
      • Answers phone lines and directs calls, manages calendars, and coordinates travel and travel reimbursement for the Executive Leadership Team.
      • Provides executive-level support to the Director of Government & Community Relations.
      • Serves in a floater role to provide executive-level support to OLC Office Directors and other staff members in need of support and assistance.
      • Assists with agency philanthropic initiatives including Combined Charitable Campaign, Harvest for Hunger, community events, and others.
      • Performs other duties and works on special projects.

      Completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management science or public administration; 2 years training or 2 years experience in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position.

      -Or completion of undergraduate core program in academic field commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file; 2 years training or 2 years experience in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position or staff position involving planning, research &/or policy/procedure development.

      -Or 4 years training or 4 years experience in business administration management science or public administration.
