Ability to represent the company with communities in and outside of the ONEOK footprint and to develop positive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including, but not limited to:
the ONEOK Foundation Board of Directors and other executive management
chapter members of the company’s volunteer organization
community leaders
employees
Provide leadership and guidance to develop and execute strategic integrated giving and strategic philanthropy to, drive impact and expand network with inspiring content through several thematic/brand campaigns per year, including all activities associated with The ONEOK Foundation (events, campaign, data report, accelerators, regional events).
Develop and lead cross-foundational platforms, mechanisms and tools that enable comprehensive global engagement for campaign and content planning across program and regional communications teams, including the Editorial Calendar.
Lead all aspects of foundation-owned channels globally and publications to optimize audience engagement using targeted data and insights and through targeted channels, resources, and programming.
Be responsible for the development of a cross-foundational creative strategy and production of world-class content to align with the foundation’s advocacy objectives and to promote and enhance the foundation’s brand.
This role will collaborate deeply with other members of the Communications team, regional offices, and key foundation partners and affiliates.
Bachelor's Degree in liberal arts, political science, communications, journalism, public relations, English or related field, or equivalent experience
Some experience in not-for-profits preferred.
Experience planning and executing special events.
Knowledge of: of key external communications trends, channels, and distribution methods.
Skills in: strong business acumen.
Skills in: strong leadership to bring the team along with new strategic goals and objectives.
Skills in: excellent written, presentation and oral communication skills, in positions requiring communication with a broad and diverse audience on a range of sophisticated issues.

Job Profile Summary
The Executive Director will serve as a foundation leader who helps advance advocacy and program objectives through development and outreach, community relations, cross-channel execution, development of compelling content to engage priority audiences and collaborating with communications colleagues to created integrated campaigns. The Executive Director will be responsible for leading a team that develops audience-first, insights-based giving strategies, inspiring creative concepts, world-class content, engagement with key partners, and the executing of strategic initiatives to achieve objectives.
