- Manage administrative and logistical matters supporting executive protection and other security-related functions for American Express senior leaders during their domestic and/or international travels.
- Perform Armed Security Officer (ASO) functions during travel to/from National Airport, Washington, DC.
- Conduct and oversee protective advances and event security planning with global security teams.
- Conduct Global Security Headquarters oversight or coordination for colleague global events.
- Act as an intermediary manager between events staff and Global Security personnel to effect corporate event coverage in all regions.
- Manage global security regions related to EP and event assignments, to include managing EP event costs. - Communicate vulnerabilities or safety concerns in a timely manner and provide effective resolutions
- Complete incident reports, medical treatment reports, and other administrative requirements.
- Managerial oversight of all Motor Pool operations and Motor Pool personnel. Ensure that CEO and Senior Leader motor pool assignments are supported through the MP analyst to drivers. Manage and assist in maintaining driver standards and clean, maintained vehicles. Manage and ensure all necessary statistical data is prepared for reoccurring review. Ensure all MP colleagues are administratively current.
- Assist with data entries and reports associated with executive protection and motor pool.
- Operate and maintain protective operations, motor pool, and communications equipment.
- Promptly identify and escalate deficiencies/failures.
- Clearly communicate highest priority operational and administrative matters to office leadership and facilitate timely resolutions.
- Other duties, as assigned.
- On-call 24/7/365.
- This position will be based in NYC office and requires the candidate to reside in the NYC Metro Area.
- This role is also administrative, so extensive knowledge of administrative and operational computer and devices applications is a must.
- Experience in Logistics, Corporate Executive Protection, and law enforcement.
- Executive office experience, the ability to handle competing priorities and strong people leadership skills.
- Possess valid US driver's license.
- Possess a highly skilled knowledge of IT systems and common computer applications.
- Required to maintain a high level of confidentiality and loyalty to the corporate brand.
- Proven self-starter with excellent time management, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication skills to be able to interface effectively with all levels of management and business partners.
- Ability to prioritize and effectively communicate requirements to AmEx executives and Global Security leadership.
- Ability to foster positive relationships with internal and external partners.
- Project management experience.
- Manage diverse tasks and prioritize administrative workload with minimal direction.
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
- A high degree of energy and flexibility; proactive, self-motivated assertive and creative drive.
- A College/University degree.
- New York State armed guard license and an HR218 permit for national gun carry.
- Qualified for a TSA/ASO certification. Support for this certification is available.

Responsible for providing Operational and Administrative Oversight of Executive Protection (EP) and Events; logistics; EP/Events calendars; Motor Pool OPs; Training; and the physical protection and security of the Company's senior leaders by monitoring their business agendas, travel itineraries and event attendance. The Executive Protection Operations Manager (EPOM) is primarily administrative with some LOCAL NYC AND domestic EP related travel. The EPOM also manages oversight of corporate events, global security staffing for events, liaison, and connectivity with all internal Global Security regions.

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
