- Do you possess a Journeyman License or higher in plumbing?
- Are you certified in Backflow Testing, and do you have experience with commercial plumbing and grease trap maintenance?
- Are you comfortable with night work and being on-call as needed?
- Do you own your own set of basic and plumbing hand tools?
- Are you willing to obtain a Chauffeur’s license before starting employment?
- Before hiring we will require a criminal background check along with a drug screen (test IS included for THC Marijuana). Do you have any issues with this you'd like to discuss beforehand?
- SERVICE AND REPAIRS
- Provide on-site plumbing system diagnostics based upon the initial request and upon a full inspection of the property's plumbing system
- Fixture installation and service (toilets, faucets, water heaters, etc.)
- Communicate problems, propose solutions
- Troubleshoot and make misc repairs to plumbing fixtures
- Underground sewer replacements
- Soldering of copper. Installation of PVC, PEX and Pro Press Fittings
- Hot water tank replacements
- Communicate problems, propose solutions
- Floor Breaks- Sewer Line Replacements Grease Trap installations
- General drain cleaning
- Test and repair backflow prevention valves (if qualified)
- The ideal candidate will have a 5+ years of service plumbing experience in commercial setting. Current licensed Master, Journeyman or Apprentice, preferred.
- Valid Driver's License (Chauffer’s License will need to be obtained within 2 week period from hire)
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Communicate with your supervisor/dispatch to resolve issues
- Back-Flow Certification is a PLUS!
- Dover Grease is willing to invest in Back-Flow Certification for applicants who meet the eligibility requirements

Position: Plumber
Overview: Dover Grease, a division of Liquid Environmental Solutions, is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Gold Star Plumber to join our team in Grand Rapids/Wyoming, MI. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial plumbing and demonstrate exceptional leadership and teamwork skills. Applicants must reside within 30-45 minutes of our shop.
Key Qualifications:
1. Journeyman License or higher
2. Backflow Testing Certification
3. Commercial plumbing experience
4. Grease trap experience
5. Availability for night work
6. On-call service availability
7. Strong team orientation
8. Demonstrated leadership skills
9. Flexibility and adaptability
10. Ownership of basic and plumbing hand tools
11. Proficiency with technology
12. Candidates must be able to pass a 10-panel drug screening, which includes testing for THC (Marijuana)
13. Chauffer’s license (required prior to employment)
Preferred:
· Confined Space Certification (training provided on-site)
Responsibilities:
· Perform commercial plumbing tasks with a focus on quality and efficiency
· Conduct backflow testing and grease trap maintenance
