      DHL Express is seeking for a Expert Regional Network Airside – Flying Loadmaster (f/m/d) based in Leipzig to be a part of our global network as a member of the Network Operations Management Team, could this be you?

      YOUR TASKS

      • To monitor and control all aspects of aircraft ground handling and to act as a first point of contact for the flight crews in order to ensure regulatory, safety, standards, cost & service criteria are met
      • To ensure all safety aspects of the loading/un-loading sequence are followed in order to reduce potential for personal injury, aircraft damage and delays
      • To supervise aircraft ground handling at network and ad-hoc (Charter) destinations, so as to ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety and company procedures and also to review general work processes
      • To ensure aircraft ground handling and to promote a safe airside working environment through active engagement with all stakeholders
      • To perform live risk assessments on ground handling operations and active follow-up monitoring
      • Proactive reporting of deviations within reporting systems of DHL (Q-Pulse)
      • To conduct training programs such as Cargo Loading System (CLS), Cargo Door Training and any other Airside training
      • Proactive approach of improving our network operations
      • Provide a key link between aircraft ground handling staff, maintenance and air crews
      • Other administrative functions deemed necessary for Airside Operations

      WHAT YOU BRING

      • 5 years Ramp experience including Aircraft Supervision and/or passed profession and/or University degree in the fields of Transport and Traffic/Airline
      • Demonstrable experience in aircraft ground handling and air cargo knowledge including GSE Operation
      • Loadmaster certificate or equivalent qualification such as Airside Supervisor and/or Advanced ULD Build-up
      • Fluent English language spoken & written - Additional languages beneficial
      • Good at establishing working relationships and developing personal contacts
      • Ability to communicate to all levels – technical/non-technical, management
      • Intermediate understanding of software applications – MS Office, NMIV, AIR/Q-Pulse, AIMS etc.
      • High level sense of responsibility
      • Initiative and decision making/judgment
      • Willingness to work under “call-in” conditions
      • Ability to perform independently and as part of a team
      • Functional/technical expertise
      • Strong multi-tasking skills
      • Ability to work in shifts/night time
      • Travel share minimum 75%
      • Understanding of multi-cultural diversity within the network
      • Must meet criteria for work cross-border within the European Union, international airside security passes and visa applications
