      SALARY: Teachers/Nurses $50.00 per instructional hour Aides $24.00 per instructional hour Related Services Per Diem Rate (Separate Rate for Evaluations/Screenings) CST Members (Including BCBA) 12 Days at Per Diem Rate The Ewing Public Schools seeks applicants for the following positions to instruct special needs students in the Extended School Year Program and Ready Freddy Transition Kindergarten Program will run from July 8 - August 8, 2024 (Monday - Thursday) for 4 hours per day (20 days for total program). Staff will depend on student enrollment. PRESCHOOL at AES (FULL DAY AND INTEGRATED) STAFF HOURS 8:45-12:00 STUDENT HOURS (9:00-11:45) Preschool Full Day: 5 Teachers and 12 Aides Preschool Integrated: 3 Teachers and 3 Aides ELEMENTARY SCHOOL at AES (K-5): (8:15 AM – 12:15 PM for staff and 8:30 – 12:00 for students) Autistic: Grades K-2 7 Teachers and 14 Aides Autistic: Grades 3-5 3 Teachers and 7 Aides Multiply Disabled: Grades K-1 7 Teachers and 7 Aides Multiply Disabled: Grades 2-5 9 Teachers and 10 Aides GILMORE FISHER MIDDLE SCHOOL at EHS: (8:15 AM – 12:15 PM for staff and 8:30 – 12:00 for students) Life Skills: Grades 6-8 3 Teachers and 6 Aides Multiply Disabled: Grades 6-8 3 Teachers and 3 Aides Learning Disabled: Grades 5-6 2 Teachers and 1 Aide Learning Disabled: Grades 7-8 3 Teachers and 1 Aide Learning Disabled: Grades 9-10 2 Teachers Learning Disabled Grades 11-12 2 Teachers Math Specialist: Grades 6-12 3 Teachers ELA Specialist: Grades 6-12 3 Teachers EWING HIGH SCHOOL at EHS: (8:15 AM – 12:15 PM for staff and 8:30 – 12:00 for students) Learning Disabled: Grades 9-12 6 Teachers and 5 Aides Life Skills: Grades 9-12 6 Teachers and 8 Aides O’BRIEN ACADEMY at OBA: (8:15 AM – 12:15 PM for staff and 8:30 – 12:00 for students) Behavior Disorder: 6 Teachers and 4 Aides Related Services: As Required by IEP Speech & Language Therapy: 9 Therapists for up to 4 hours per day Occupational Therapy: 3 Therapists for up to 4 hours per day Physical Therapy: 1 Therapist for up to 4 hours per day District Nurses: 6 Nurses for up to 7.25 hours per day Reading Specialists: 2 Teachers up to 4 hours per day READY FREDDY KINDERGARTEN TRANSITION PROGRAM at AES: The following programs run 8:45 AM to 12:00 PM for staff and 9:00 AM-11:45 AM for students): Ready Freddy Kindergarten Transition Program: 10 Teachers and 10 Aides (Dependent on student eligibility) (Program will run at AES) Ready Freddy Coordinator: 1 Teacher/Certified Staff: Coordinator will be given additional 10 hours to support Ready Freddy Kindergarten Transition Program. Ready Freddy Bus Aides: 3 paras up to 3 additional hours per day (Dependent on need) Additional Staff: Physical Education Teachers: 2 Physical Education Teachers up to 4 hours per day Art Teacher 1 Art Teacher up to 4 hours per day Teaching positions are open to NJ Teacher of the Handicapped and General Education. Aides should have experience of working with students in an instructional setting. Sub Teachers & Aides are also needed.
