Operate saws, CNC machines, and other tools to cut and process materials

Use measurement tools (tape measure, calipers) to ensure accuracy

Perform quality checks to meet 80/20 standards
-
Accurately track and process orders using production software
-
Wash and deburr aluminum bars as needed
-
Follow all safety, startup, and shutdown procedures
-
Collaborate with team members to resolve production issues
-
Participate in cross-training and continuous improvement efforts
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
Strong basic math skills (including metric/fraction conversions)
-
Comfortable standing, bending, lifting (up to 40 lbs) for 10-hour shifts

Ability to read blueprints and make precision cuts

Positive attitude and strong communication skills

Willingness to cross-train and learn new tasks

1+ year experience with metal/plastic cutting equipment

Quality control experience with aluminum finishes

Familiarity with production software and computer navigation

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

80/20 is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Extrusion Operator to join our production team. This role involves cutting, machining, and finishing raw aluminum materials to precise customer specifications while maintaining our high quality standards. You'll also be responsible for setup, quality checks, and ensuring smooth order flow through our production line.
