      BGI is searching for both full-time and part-time F-16 Pilots as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to directly support our USAF and International F-16 Simulation & Training contracts in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area. Full-time candidates must reside in the DFW area (relocation negotiable). Part-time candidates can live anywhere in the country. Positions are available immediately.

      In support of this effort, BGI requires a highly skilled SMEs to provide end-to-end operational support regarding the design, test and delivery of high-fidelity simulation systems. Personnel will work hand-in-hand with engineers and end-users to determine the most effective and efficient training solutions.

      Job Responsibilities

      • Support F-16 flight simulator design by providing operational insight/input into actual F-16 performance and capabilities to development engineers
      • Provide subject matter expertise on F-16 systems, avionics, weapons and overall operational capabilities
      • Provide input and/or generate Testing Procedures that will be utilized to verify that F-16 simulators meet required training tasks
      • Perform Test & Evaluation (T&E) and Validation & Verification (V&V) on high-fidelity state-of-the-art F-16 flight simulators, computer generated threat systems and visual simulation components
      • Document discrepancies and functional/operational deficiencies for disposition by the program teams
      • Provide inputs regarding current and future training solutions based on end-user needs and emerging technology
      • Attend customer meetings to help translate end-user needs to training development
      • Knowledgeable on the employment of the F-16 aircraft to include operations and performance in the following areas:
        • Engine/Aero performance
        • Avionics / Comm systems
        • Weapons Systems
        • F-16 Tactical Employment
      • Knowledgeable on F-16 Dash 1 & Operations Manuals
      • Recent aircraft currency desired
      • Strong written and aural communication skills. Attention to detail
      • Ability to convert technical knowledge into easily understood terms
      • Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance
      • Prior Instructor experience desired
