      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Deliver course content and assessments using the employer's current materials while engaging students in meaningful discussions
      - Maintain an active classroom presence and respond promptly to student inquiries to foster a supportive learning environment
      - Provide additional support such as coaching and tutoring, and oversee student clinical/practicum experiences
      - Attend faculty meetings and university events while staying updated on course standards and instructional practices
      - Adapt to technology changes to facilitate online instruction and maintain active faculty status

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Doctorate degree in Counseling or related area, or any area with 18 graduate semester credits in Counseling, or a Master's degree in Counseling or related area
      - Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience within the last 7 years
      - Current California license as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Professional Counselor (LPC), Psychologist, or Psychiatrist
      - Degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
      - One record of scholarship within the last five years that meets the employer’s definition of scholarship engagement

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Familiarity with adult education teaching and learning theory
      - High level of problem-solving and decision-making ability
      - Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact with diverse constituencies
      - Proficiency in Microsoft suite programs
      - Ability to convey a professional image and represent the employer appropriately
