What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Deliver course content, learning activities, and assessments using the university's current materials while engaging students in relevant discussions
- Maintain an engaged classroom presence and respond timely to student inquiries to foster academic success
- Provide additional support such as coaching, tutoring, and overseeing student clinical/practicum experiences as needed
- Attend faculty meetings and university events to stay informed about course updates and instructional standards
- Adapt to technology changes and maintain active faculty status in an online environment

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must have Family Nurse Practitioner experience
- Doctor of Nursing Science, Doctor of Nursing Practice, or PhD in Nursing OR Doctorate in any area plus a Master’s in Nursing OR Master’s in Nursing
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing practice experience, with at least 2 years managing Adult and Geriatric populations
- Active, unencumbered Registered Arizona Nurse or Multistate (RN) license and Arizona Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification
- National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner and familiarity with adult education teaching and learning theory

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Two years of current experience as a Nurse Practitioner within the last five years
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- High proficiency in oral and written communication to effectively engage with diverse constituents
- Technology proficiency, including Microsoft suite programs
- A record of scholarship engagement as defined by the university's requirements
