- Program management and oversight of plant operations and environmental services.
- Integrates operations and services with internal departments and external agencies, to ensure services meet the needs of the hospital and community we serve.
- Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as accrediting body criteria.
- Anticipates, evaluates and implements capital acquisitions and renovation/building projects for assigned area as approved, including development of system purchases, cost analysis, oversight alignment with strategic and operational goals to maintain effective operations and sustainment for growth of services.
- Bachelors Degree, in a related field. Seven (7) years of equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree (Required)
- 5-6 years facilities operations, maintenance, construction, facilities planning, project management or a related field, preferably in a healthcare environment. (Required)
- 3-4 years supervisory experience (Required)
- Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, code requirements, building guidelines and standards.
- Demonstrated leadership on projects providing subject matter expertise and technical direction to others.
- Certified Healthcare Operations Professional - DNV within 3 Years(Required)
- Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) - ASHE (Preferred)
- Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) - ASHE (Preferred)

Overview
Works under the direction of the VP/Hospital President, in collaboration with the Facilities Operations System Director. Responsible for oversight of building operations which include plant operations, projects, building and grounds maintenance, emergency management, environmental services, and campus security. Is designated as the Emergency Management Coordinator and Safety Officer for the hospital, organizing and leading the facility safety committee. Collaborates with health system leaders/teams, which most frequently include Protection, Construction Management, Emergency Management, Infection Prevention, Environmental Services, and Biomedical. Coordinates these operations with other departments to create a safe, clean environment of care for patients, visitors physicians and employees.
