What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze, track, and report on the Department of Motor Vehicles' capital outlay projects and operating budget
- Serve as the Facilities Operations budget and accounting coordinator
- Monitor and maintain fiscal accountability of budgeted expenditures and fund balances
- Process goods and services requests for the Facilities Operations Branch
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must have a bachelor's degree in accounting or at least 45 semesters units with specified accounting courses
- Minimum of one year of experience in California state service performing accounting analyst duties or three years of relevant experience in government or private settings
- Successful completion of the Associate Accounting Analyst online examination
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to pass a Background Investigation before hire
