      Our Role:

      Provide leadership/direction to regional team of Corporate Services employees, supporting the facility operations for assigned locations. Develop internal business relationships with all levels of the organization in order to assist them in meeting their business goals and objectives, and develop external business relationships with quality service companies in order to meet corporate goals and objectives. Provide creative ideas and supporting documentation for improvements and/or modifications to existing contracts, procedures and systems which could have an impact on the environment, continuous operations or safety. Ensure coordination and integration of all field activities with all departments within Corporate Services, (i.e. Real Estate, Facility Planning, Safety & Security, Logistics, Food Services, Travel, Meetings & Events, etc.). Responsible for providing effective leadership, direction and implementation of strategies in order to support Facilities Services for all interfaces (shared services) within the MIHC to include Florida Blue, GuideWell Connect, GuideWell Health and Diversified Services Options (to include FCSO and Novitas) as well as joint ventures and any additional acquisitions, as required.

      Note: This is an on-site work position with a location based out of our Corporate Headquarters in Jacksonville, FL. The address is 4800 Deerwood Campus Parkway, Jacksonville, FL.

      What You Will Be Doing:

      • Business Relationships

        • Develop and maintain working relationships with all functional areas within the organization in order to assist them in meeting their business goals and objectives and develop external business relationships with landlords and vendors in order to rectify issues and implement change.

        • Maintain current technical knowledge and understanding with regard to departmental interaction through continuous learning, professional development, business strategies and changes in technology in order to resolve issues and implement cost effective enhancements.

        • Identify and lead activities to resolve issues that transcend operational areas and impact the course of business.

        • Develop, recommend and manage the implementation of cost effective strategies which improve performance and increase customer satisfaction.

        • Participate and/or provide leadership on key workgroups by providing subject matter expertise as it pertains to divisional strategic planning.

        • Provide support and leadership as a key member of the Facility Support Services team to ensure successful completion of departmental responsibilities (i.e. monthly reports, problem solving, surveys, budgeting and operating plan development).

      • Business Process Skills

        • Coordinate and/or perform research and analysis, make modifications, validate and prepare data used to problem solve and make appropriate business decisions.

        • Maintain a working knowledge of the components and terms that make up contracts and lease agreements.

        • Understand the complexities of owned and leased corporate office space as well as all aspects of property management and landlord responsibilities.

        • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of solutions, policies, practices and processes to ensure continuous improvement and good customer relations.

        • Manage work to produce customer value by planning and forecasting, setting objectives and priorities, establishing goals, clarifying accountabilities, assigning work and utilizing management and financial controls.

        • Maintain a working knowledge of construction processes and procedures, to include blueprint reading, electrical/mechanical systems, life/safety requirements, fit assessments and project oversight.

        • Prepare and oversee the budget and operating plan for the Facility Support Services Department.

        • Manage levels of performance and assist with employees’ professional growth by planning and building an effective organization, communicating effectively, coordinating with others, maintaining employee morale, motivating, recognizing and rewarding employees, coaching and developing employees and engaging in self-development.

        • Oversee the budget and operating plan for the Facility Support Services Department.

      • Regional/Retail Engagement & Support

        • Coordinate and provide solutions to a wide variety of requests from all levels within the corporation including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, furniture, ergonomics, conference room administration, and property management within appropriate timeframes while maintaining effective relationships.

        • Act as the primary point of contact for local service issues from customers (internal and external) and negotiate these issues to a mutually beneficial conclusion while considering the impact on cost and customer satisfaction.

        • Maintain the local Business Continuity Plan. Serve as Primary EOC Member and Plan Owner, representing regional area office locations.

        • Work closely with Market Presidents, Sales, Marketing and Retail Marketing Leadership in coordination and support of regional events. Maintain and develop constructive, professional, business relationships (internal and external) in order to achieve business results through collaborative, business acumen and strategic alliances.

        • Participate as required on cross-functional teams in support of Employee Engagement initiatives and Wellness efforts.

        • Ensure coordination and integration of events and retail/regional activity with all departments within Corporate Services, (i.e. Facility Planning, Safety & Security, Food Services, etc.).

      What You Must Have:

      5+ years related work experience. Experience Details: facilities and property management (commercial preferred!) experience
      2+ years direct supervisory/management experience
      Related Bachelor’s degree or additional related equivalent work experience

      Additional Required Qualifications
      Ability to employ business process skills across multiple areas (e.g. IT, Security, Engineering, Property Management)
      Technical understanding of operational (e.g. IT, Security, engineering, Property Management) entities and their relationship to each other
      Outstanding verbal, written and behavioral communication skills
      Strong analytical skills in order to effectively develop strategies, long and short term plans, problem solving and negotiation
      Ability to lead, develop and motivate teams to work within various settings
      Objective, flexible and responsive to change
      Ability to understand the complexities of a changing work environment

      Additional Preferred Qualifications
      Working knowledge of service request systems Experience leading and working with groups of personnel across diverse disciplines

      General Physical Demands
      Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

      Must be able to travel to multiple locations for work (i.e. travel to attend meetings, events, conferences).       Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $74,200 - $90,000

      Annualized Salary Range: $74,200 - $120,500

      Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
